Privacy Policy

LSK is a Discord application providing moderation, security, server-management, ticketing, automation, and user-installed utility features.

This Privacy Policy explains what information LSK may process, why it is processed, how it is used, and the choices available to users and server administrators.

1. Information LSK May Process

Depending on the features enabled or explicitly used, LSK may process the following information:

LSK does not sell personal data.

2. Message Content

LSK may access Discord message content only where it is required to provide specific moderation, support, archival, or user-requested functionality.

Moderation and Audit Logs

When enabled by a server administrator, LSK may process message content to provide moderation context for edited messages, deleted messages, moderation incidents, and configured server security or moderation features.

Ticket Transcripts

When an authorized user closes a ticket or explicitly requests a transcript, LSK may read the messages contained in that ticket in order to generate the requested transcript.

Explicit Channel Extraction

LSK may provide commands that allow an authorized user to explicitly request a limited extraction of message history from a Discord channel. LSK verifies relevant Discord permissions before attempting to access the requested channel. This functionality is user-initiated and does not automatically export arbitrary private conversations.

LSK Personal

LSK Personal does not passively retrieve a user's complete Discord DM or conversation history. Personal features are initiated explicitly by the user, for example through application commands, context commands, buttons, or content specifically selected or supplied by the user.

3. Why Message Content Is Used

LSK uses Discord interactions such as slash commands, context commands, buttons, select menus, and modals wherever those interactions can provide the required functionality.

Message Content access is used only where the message itself is necessary to provide the feature. For example, an interaction can request that a ticket transcript be generated, but the interaction itself cannot provide the historical messages contained in that ticket. Similarly, message edits and deletions occur asynchronously and cannot always be replaced by a user-triggered interaction.

LSK does not request Message Content for advertising or behavioral profiling.

4. Server Administrator Controls

Many LSK features are configured by Discord server administrators. Server administrators may determine which supported moderation, logging, ticketing, or security features are enabled and where relevant logs or outputs are sent. LSK only accesses Discord channels and information that Discord allows the application to access through the permissions granted to it.

5. Data Retention

LSK aims to retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the feature for which it was collected, maintain security, comply with applicable requirements, or resolve technical issues.

Retention may vary depending on the feature being used. Temporary files generated for operations such as exports or transcripts may be removed after processing or delivery where applicable. Server configuration data may remain stored while the server continues to use LSK or until it is removed or deleted. Where a feature intentionally creates moderation logs or ticket records, those records may remain available according to the configuration and operation of that feature.

6. Data Sharing

LSK does not sell user data. Information is not shared with advertisers.

Data may only be disclosed where necessary to operate LSK and its infrastructure, provide a feature explicitly requested by the user, use a third-party service required for a specific LSK feature, comply with applicable law or a valid legal request, or protect the security and integrity of LSK, Discord users, or Discord communities.

When a feature uses an external provider, LSK aims to disclose or request consent where appropriate.

7. Security

LSK uses reasonable technical and organizational safeguards intended to protect stored information and application infrastructure. Access to operational data is limited to what is necessary to operate, maintain, secure, and support LSK. No internet-based service can guarantee absolute security.

8. Advertising and Sale of Data

LSK does not sell personal information or Discord message content, use private Discord message content for targeted advertising, provide advertisers with access to Discord conversations, or use Message Content for unrelated behavioral profiling.

9. User Privacy Requests

Users may request information about data associated with them or request deletion of eligible stored data. Privacy requests can be made through the official LSK support server: https://discord.gg/lsk.

Users should provide enough information for the request to be verified and processed securely. Certain information may be retained where required for security, abuse prevention, legal compliance, or other legitimate operational requirements.

10. Server Data

Server owners or administrators may contact LSK support regarding stored configuration or other eligible data associated with their Discord server. Removing LSK from a server may prevent further collection of new server data, but some stored information may require a separate deletion request depending on the feature involved.

11. Children's Privacy

LSK is intended for use in accordance with Discord's own Terms of Service and age requirements. LSK does not knowingly attempt to collect personal information from users who are not permitted to use Discord.

12. Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated when LSK changes its features, infrastructure, legal requirements, or data practices. The "Last updated" date at the top of this document will be changed when material updates are made.
